While power supplies are quite reliable, there are many applications where zero downtime is demanded. This requirement necessitates fault tolerant power systems. Uninterruptible power sources which address the power integrity question of the utility mains are not a whole solution. 

MST power modules are a group of programmable power supplies that are compatible with Kepco¹s single address, multiple instrument serial control bus. The MST provide precision interactive control in the 200 Watt power class. 

Redundancy And Hot Swapping Keep Systems Running If You Plan To Remain Viable In Markets Where Downtime Is Unacceptable, High-Availability Systems Are A Prerequisite. 

Typically, output power from the power system is divided to facilitate physical connections to the load. For example, a 21 Ampere redundant power system (two or more 21 Ampere power supplies) may be connected to ten loads drawing 1 Ampere, and 1 load drawing 10 Amperes.
